Dispur: The addiction of the infamous game 'Blue Whale Challenge' has yet again tried to take the life of a college student.

A student from Assam jumped off from the top floor of the building while attempting a Blue Whale Challenge in Silchar district of Assam.

The 22-year-old, a second year student, has been admitted to hospital where the doctors stated that his condition was very critical. The injury marks were also found in his chest and hands.

Police officer Rakesh Raushan stated, "The probe regarding the matter is on. We have seized the cell phone of the victim. Doctors stated that his condition is critical."

It may be mentioned that this deadly challenge of Blue whale game has claimed over 100 lives across the world.

Earlier, A 13-year-old boy Aditya vardhan singh allegedly hanged himself to death on September 7 last.

Aditya was a class 8th student of Nirmala Convent School and a resident of Lucknow.

About Blue Whale Challenge

It is a dare-based game which inspires the players to first draw a whale on paper, followed by tasks like drawing the same figure on their body, watching horror movies alone, and many more. In the final stage of the game, it challenges the players to commit suicide.

The game asks the players to post live videos while completing the tasks.
