Bihar Policeman shot dead by unidentified gunmen

Patna: The station House officer, Mohommad Qyamuddidin, of Kohli police station was shot dead by at least four unidentified men at around 6 AM on Monday.

Qyamuddidin was on his morning walk on the Gaya-Kothi Road when the assailants fired at him.

According to the officials, the officer had an argument with the men after which the men starting firing bullets on him.

Garima Malik, Senior Superintendent of Police rushed to the spot and said," Three to four armed criminals followed Qyamuddidin when he was on his morning walk and shot him. The police has sealed all the border areas and launched a manhunt."

According to the sources, Qyamuddidin has arrested many criminals during his duty period at Kohli Police station and had received many life threatening calls and letters.

Qyamuddidin's body has been sent for a post mortem and further investigation is underway.
