'Baba Ka Dhaba' owner files complaint against YouTuber Gaurav for Cheating

In his complaint to the police, Prasad said that Gaurav Wasan shot his video and posted it online and appealed to the public to give him money on social media.

New Delhi: Kanta Prasad, the owner of 'Baba Ka Dhaba' in Malviya Nagar, South Delhi, has filed a complaint of misappropriation of money against Instagram influencer and YouTuber Gaurav Wasan. The police gave this information on Sunday.

Gaurav Wasan did financial fraud with Kanta Prasad:

Recently he became popular after a video of Kanta Prasad (80) was shared on social media platforms. The video had become very viral on social media, in which he had expressed his anguish over the financial crisis due to the failure of the shop during lockdown.

Donations and money fraud: Baba Ka Dhaba

He talked about his struggle in a video shared on YouTuber Wasan's social media account. In his complaint to the police, Prasad said that Gaurav Wasan shot his video and posted it online and appealed to the public to give him money on social media.

He alleged that Wasan deliberately only shared his and his family / friends' bank details and mobile numbers with the donors and collected huge amount of donations through various types of payments without providing any information to the complainant.

Number of customer decreasing:

The number of customers of Kanta Prasad, the owner of Baba Ka Dhaba, is gradually decreasing. In the initial days of the video going viral, daily sales of 10 to 12 thousand rupees were being sold. Which has now reduced to three to five thousand rupees. Before Navratri, he used to earn all three thousand rupees every day by deducting all the expenses. Now his daily earnings are Rs 1200-1500.
