Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) summons the CEO of Cordelia Cruises in connection with the seizure of banned drugs from a Mumbai coast ship. An official gave this information on Tuesday.

NCB summons Cruise CEO:

To take the probe forward, the NCB has summoned the cruise liner's CEO to join the investigation, the official said. It also said that the NCB is seeking the details of the passengers present on the Goa bound ship and also examining the CCTV footage so that more evidence can be collected against the accused persons.

He further informed that teams from other regional units are also helping Mumbai NCB in this matter. The NCB had seized 13 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of MD, 21 grams of charas, 22 tablets of MDMA and Rs 1.33 lakh from the International Cruise Terminal at Green Gate in South Mumbai, the official said.

16 people arrested:

Let us tell you that the matter is quite an eye profile. The NCB has so far arrested 16 people, including Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, four organizers of an event management company in Delhi and others in this case.

After raiding the ship on Saturday, the Mumbai regional unit of the NCB launched a crackdown on drug smugglers linked to the arrested persons. The agency also brought some suspects, including the cruise ship, to the NCB's office here for questioning and their interrogation is on, the official said.

Aryan Khan in remand till 7 October:

Shahrukh Khan's son Aryan Khan has been sent to NCB remand till October 7 in Mumbai cruise drugs party case. On October 2, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) uncovered a rave party on the Cordelia cruise ship. During this, NCB has taken 8 other people including Shahrukh Khan's son Aryan in custody for investigation. A case has been registered against him under the NDPS Act.
