Kejriwal said that every year in this month the pollution of Delhi increases because the smoke of starch from the neighboring states reaches here. This has been happening for many years but the state governments do not pay attention to it. These governments did not take any concrete steps for the farmers. The Delhi government has found a very good solution to this.

The Delhi government, along with the Pusa Institute, has created a chemical that when poured over the straw turns it into compost. After this I hope that this will be the last year when the starch is lit. From next year all the states will use this chemical.

Diwali will be celebrated in different ways

Kejriwal said that this time we have made separate arrangements for Diwali. This time we will perform Lakshmi Pujan on Diwali on 14th November at 7.39 pm. I will start Lakshmi Pujan at a place in Delhi with my ministers, some TV channels will broadcast it live.
