Arnab Goswami in 14 days' judicial custody; Bail Hearing in Bombay Court

On Thursday, the bail plea of Republic TV editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami is likely to be heard in the Alibaug court. Apart from this, the application to dismiss the FIR will also be heard today.

Mumbai: There may be a big decision today on Arnab Goswami, editor-in-chief of the news channel Republic TV. Today, on Thursday, his bail plea can be heard in Alibag court. Apart from this, there is a hearing in the Bombay High Court on Thursday to dismiss the FIR registered against Arnab.

Let us tell you that a case registered against the Editor-in-Chief of Republic TV in Alibaug. In which Arnab applied to dismiss the FIR.

Mumbai police arrested in suicide case:

For information, let us tell you that Mumbai Police has arrested Arnab Goswami in a two-year-old case on Wednesday. Arnab's name in case of abetting an interior designer and his wife to commit suicide.

Arnab interrogated in a court in Alibag in Raigad district late evening. From where he remanded to 14 days judicial custody. Now Arnab's lawyer filed for his bail, Alibaug court will hear the side of Aranb Today. After which it will decide that Arnab will be jailed or will get bail.

Arnab allegedly didn't pay dues of designer:

According to media reports, Arnab Goswami and two others allegedly did not pay the dues to a 53-year-old interior designer. The daughter of interior designer Anvay Naik had claimed that the police had not investigated the case for non-payment of dues. So father Anvay and his mother had to commit suicide.

A suicide note allegedly written by Anvay Naik found. Mentioning that the accused did not pay him Rs 5.40 crore. Police arrested Arnab from his house in Lower Parel under sections 306 and 34. Apart from Arnab, Feroz Mohammed Sheikh and Nitesh Sarada are also in this case. They all are in police custody.
