New Delhi: Today is the birth anniversary of the 11th President of India, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. Dr Kalam was born on 15 October 1931 in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu in a Muslim family. The world knows him less by name than by his work. Known as the Missile Man, who enabled the country to become a modern indigenous missile, Dr. Kalam's whole life was extraordinary by remaining ordinary. The whole country is remembering his birthday on 15 October.

Dr Kalam was an inspirational personality, but his whole life is a big inspiration for people. In his childhood, he worked as a newspaper seller to help his family and from there dreamed and fulfilled his dream till he became a missile man.

Dr. Kalam's dream was to become a pilot in childhood, but this was not possible, so he decided to become a scientist. He became such a scientist that with his work he was covered in the whole world. He is a major contributor to India's joining the leading countries in the missile program. Dr. Kalam, who fulfilled his dream, said that dreams are not what you see in sleep, dreams are those which do not let you sleep. Due to his work, he became an inspiration to crores of youth.

Remembering former President Dr Kalam on his 90th birth anniversary, PM Modi tweeted along with his picture, "He dedicated his life in making India strong, prosperous and capable, will always remain an inspiration to the countrymen."

The former President was greeted on his birthday by tweeting on behalf of the Congress party. The picture of the former President was tweeted from the official handle of Congress and wrote that when every citizen prospers, the nation progresses. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh remembered the former President on his birth anniversary.

Rajnath Singh wrote in a tweet, salute to former President of India Dr APJ Abdul Kalam on his birth anniversary. It was his dream to build a self-reliant and strong nation. He devoted his entire life to the service of the motherland. His contribution will never be forgotten.

The Bihar unit of BJP also remembered the former President by tweeting him on his birthday. It was written on the official Twitter handle of the party that on the birth anniversary of the great scientist, well known as the Missile Man, the former President of India, "Bharat Ratna" Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, tribute to him!
