Another Hindu priest stabbed in Dhaka of Bangladesh
Dhaka: In yet another attack on Hindu priest in Bangladesh, a 48-year-old Hindu priest has been stabbed and critically injured by unidentified assailants in Satkhira district.
Bhabasindhu Roy of the Sri Sri Radha Gobinda Temple was attacked inside the temple premises while he was asleep, police said on Saturday.
The assailants were seven in numbers, Gobinda told police.
He was rushed to the hospital and his condition was reported to be serious.
The attack came just hours after gunmen stormed a restaurant in Dhaka’s high-security Gulshan diplomatic area and took 20 people hostage, including several foreigners.
Earlier, a Hindu priest and a Buddhist leader were brutally hacked to death by ISIS militants while another Hindu man survived a bid on his life in Bangladesh.
