Tezpur: Today, Supreme court will be hearing Nirbhaya Case and here again a gang rape case happened. Seven school boys raped a 12 year old girl. After this they killed her brutaly. The case is from Assam and Police declared that all culprits are under arrest.

Seven boys, who appeared for their class 10 board examinations, were apprehended for allegedly raping and killing a 12-year-old girl in Assam's Biswanath district, police said.

The girl was hanged from a tree after the crime that occurred on Friday in Chakla village under the jurisdiction of Gohpur police station, they said on Sunday.

A senior police officer said that the culprits, all of them High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examinees,were nabbed by a police team on Sunday.

After an examination, the accused had called the victim to a house on the pretext of organising a party and raped her, the officer said.

It is suspected that the girl was raped on Friday night and then hanged from a tree in a forest near the house, the senior police officer said.

The body was found on Saturday.

The Nirbhaya case:

We are still in pain of Nirbhaya and thecases related to girls safety are not stopping. Nirbhaya who was raped and murdered in 2012 is still in wait of justice.

A 23-year-old physiotherapy intern who came to be known as “Nirbhaya” was gangraped and savagely assaulted on the night of December 16, 2012, in a moving bus in South Delhi. On 28 December, at 11 am, her condition was extremely critical. Till her last breath she was fighting for life but on 29th December she died.
