Anantnag: A family has been held hostage by at least three terrorists, including Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) commander Basheer Lashkari, in a house in Dailgam village in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.
There is a continuous exchange of fire between the militants and the security forces and a lady identified as Tahira Begam has been killed during the cross firing.
The Indian Army has cordoned off the area and began search operations. Nearby houses are being vacated by the forces.

The terrorists are holed up in the house and efforts are on to take out the civilians out of this house, stated officials.
It is to be mentioned that the LeT chief Lashkari is also accused of killing five policemen.
