Millions of Indians contributed in Amnesty:

Amnesty International India said that we are following all Indian and international laws. The institution for human rights work in India operates through a different model of raising funds domestically. In the last eight years, more than four million Indians have supported the work of Amnesty International India and around 100,000 Indians have made financial contributions.

Amnesty International India stated that these contributions cannot have any relation with the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010. The Government of India is describing it as a case of money laundering, which is a proof of the maliciousness of human rights activists and institutions.
