Amma sops: mobile phones for free, 50% on scooters
Eroda: All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) chief J Jayalalithaa on Thursday released her party manifesto for the upcoming assembly elections. In the manifesto,she promises to gift mobile phones to all 1.92 crore ration cards holders , 50 %subsidy on purchase of scooters for working women, 100 units of free power and free Wi-Fi at public places.
Jayalalithaa said," I have fulfilled all the promises made in the last election. This time I'll do more than you can imagine (if returned to office)".
The party manifesto of 2011 was similar. In the last election she has distributed free laptops to class 11 and 12 students and this time students have been promised free internet connectivity.
