New Delhi: Days after China interrupted India’s call to list Pakistan based Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorist group by the United Nations, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval met Chinese envoy Luo Zhaohui here on Monday.

They discussed the cross border terrorism and Brahmaputra river issue in a meeting which took place at South Block. Doval also raised the Pakistan ceasefire violation issue.

Earlier, there were reports about China blocking Brahmaputra tributaries owing to the construction of a hydroelectric dam.

It could be mentioned here that China had already said that if Pakistan faces any foreign aggression then it will be by Pakistan’s side.
