New Delhi: After the change of weather in Delhi-NCR, there has been a steady decrease in pollution (Delhi Air Pollution). According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the people of Delhi will continue to get some relief from air pollution for the next 4 days.

The Air Quality Index is likely to remain in the medium or poor category during this period. Let us inform that on Wednesday, the average air quality index of Delhi was recorded in the poor category but it was better than the previous days. The people of Delhi were breathing poisonous air filled with pollution since the beginning of November, but due to the changes in the weather and the increase in the speed of the wind, now some extent has started to meet the pollution.

National Capital AQI in Poor category:

On Tuesday, Delhi's air quality index stood at 255, ie in the poor category. On Wednesday it improved even more. According to CPCB, the average air quality index of Delhi stood at 237 on Wednesday. That is, it has improved by 18 points within 24 hours.

The travel forecast is that during the next four days, the sky is likely to be clear during the day and the wind speed is likely to be moderate. Due to these changes in the weather, the air quality index is likely to remain in the medium or poor category for the next four days.

In the capital Delhi, after about forty days, a day has come when the air of only one monitoring center in Delhi has been in the very poor category. On Wednesday, the air quality index of Nehru Nagar remained in the very poor category of 301. Apart from this, the air quality of all the other centers remained in the poor or medium category.

The level of pollutant particles in the air of Delhi has decreased as compared to earlier, but still one and a half times more pollutant particles are present than the standards. According to CPCB, the level of PM 10 in Delhi's air at 5 pm was 179 micrograms per cubic meter and PM 2.5 level was 95 micrograms per cubic meter. According to the standards, it is considered best for health only when the level of PM 10 is below 100 and the level of PM 2.5 is below 60 micrograms per cubic meter.
