According to the official sources, "the investigating agency would question the former Prime minister’s then principal secretary TKA Nair and former national security adviser MK Narayanan beside the former CBI director Ranjit Sinha and former special director Salim Ali and several other dignitaries of the then PMO."

It may be recalled that the CBI had on Friday last arrested SP Tyagi along with a Delhi-based lawyer, Gautam Khaitan and SP Tyagi’s cousin Sanjeev Tyagi alias Julie Tyagi for allegedly influencing the Rs 3,600-crore deal in favour of AgustaWestland.
