Adani Group takes over Lucknow Airport on lease for 50 years

In place of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) at the domestic and international terminals of Amausi Airport. Adani Lucknow International Airport Ltd. (ALIAL) staff will provide services to the Passenger.

Adani Group takes over Lucknow Airport on lease for 50 years

Lucknow: Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport Amausi will now belong to Adani Group. The Adani Group will control this airport for the next fifty years. There is already a proposal to build Terminal Three at this airport, which is among the airports which are different from passenger facilities to earnings. The Adani Group will take control of the airport from Monday.

Adani Group on lease for 50 years:

In place of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) at the domestic and international terminals of Amausi Airport. Adani Lucknow International Airport Ltd. (ALIAL) staff will provide services to the Passenger. Although the combined management of AAI and ALIAL will work for the next three years. After three years it will be completely under the control of the Adani Group.

Responsbility to develop airport:

After the control, the Adani Group will have the responsibility to develop the airport and improve passenger amenities along with commercial activities here. On the other hand, air traffic control will be done by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and ATC and security will be with the Adani group.

A team of AAI officials arrived at Amausi Airport on Saturday to meet with Adani Group officials to conclude the physical action of the airport transfer.

About 55 to 6 million domestic and international passengers fly from Lucknow Airport annually. On normal days, between 50 and 55 domestic aircraft arrive in Lucknow daily and leave the same. The number of international aircraft was also six to seven per day before the Corona era.

This airport has received several international awards for better facilities in the category of passengers up to 50 lakhs per annum. There is an emergency landing of planes in Lucknow when there is an obstruction at Delhi Airport.
