New Delhi: The academic community has written a letter to PM Modi to support its organization regarding the JEE-NEET exam. They has expressed hope that students will not lose a year by conducting the examination. This support has been done by a group of teachers.

The National Testing Agency has once again made it clear that the JEE Mains and NEET UG examinations will be conducted on pre-determined dates.

NTA ensures all security:

The JEE Main exam is scheduled to take place from September 1 to 6 while the NEET (UG) exam is scheduled to take place on September 13. The National Testing Agency has claimed that the examination centers to conduct the NEET and JEE exam safely The number of seats has been increased, according to social distancing, seating arrangement has been made and special arrangement for entry and exit in the examination center.

Academicians in support of NEET JEE Exam:

In a letter to Prime Minister Modi, people associated with academia have supported the conduct of JEE / NEET exam. Also said that it is expected that students will not lose a year.

In support of the examination, Professor CB Sharma of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Shri Prakash Singh of Delhi University, VC Professor Sanjeev Sharma of Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Motihari, Bihar, Dr. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Open University, VC Ami Upadhyay of Gujarat , Prof. VC Jayaprasad of Kerala Central University, has written a letter to PM Modi in support of the exam.a

People associated with academia wrote this letter at a time when students and Chief Ministers of many states have opposed the conduct of JEE / NEET exams amid Corona crisis. Chief ministers of 7 non-BJP ruled states have said that they will go to the Supreme Court against this proposed examination in September. Chief Ministers of Odisha and West Bengal have protested.
