Abhitej Sandhu, kin of Bhagat Singh dies in road mishap

Shimla: Abhitej Singh Sandhu, the great nephew of Bhagat Singh, died in a road accident in Rampur Bushahr area of Shimla district in Himachal Pradesh.

The accident occurred near Rampur Bushahr area some 135 kilometres away from Shimla head quarters on Saturday, police said.

• Abhitej was a youth icon leader of People’s Party in Punjab.
• Sandhu hailed from Mohali.
• He met with an accident while returning home from Kaza.
• He was travelling on his motorcycle which skidded off the road.
• He was rushed to Rampur hospital and succumbed to injuries during treatment.
