New Delhi: The second wave of Coronavirus infection has caused a havoc in the country. In many states, even after the night curfew and weekend lockdown, the number of Corona-infected patients is increasing.

Over 2.73 Lakh corona cases:

The situation has become so bad that patients are not able to get beds even in the hospital. According to the data released by the Health Ministry, the total number of infected patients in the country has increased to one crore 50 lakh 61 thousand 919 after the arrival of new cases of corona.

There have been 2,73,810 new cases of Carona virus infection in the last 24 hours, while 1619 people have died.

Corona surge in India:

According to the Health Ministry, 1 crore 29 lakh 53 thousand 821 people have been recovered in the country so far, while there are 19 lakh 29 thousand 329 active cases at this time. After the deaths in the last 24 hours, the number of dead in the country has increased to 1 lakh 78 thousand 769.

68,631 covid cases in Maharashtra:

The highest number of cases reported so far in Maharashtra was 68,631 in a single day of corona virus infection on Sunday, while 503 infected died.

According to the state health department, the number of infected people has so far reached 38,39,338, while the number of dead has reached 60,473. There are 6,70,388 infected patients undergoing treatment in Maharashtra at present.

There were 8,468 new cases of infection in Mumbai city, while 53 people died. The total number of infected in the city has gone up to 5,79,486, while the death toll has reached 12,354.

Corona outbreak in Bengal:

In West Bengal, 8,419 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in the last 24 hours, which is the highest number of cases reported in a day. With this, the total number of people infected with this deadly virus in the state so far has increased to 6,59,927.
