Around 200 militants are waiting to sneak into Kashmir: IG BSF
Srinagar: In a fresh revelation, a senior Border Security Force (BSF) official on Sunday said around 200 terrorists from the other side of the border were trying to infiltrate into Kashmir while some had already entered the valley.
“There has been a spurt in the number of encounters along the Line of Control (LOC) this year and the Indian Army do not deny that infiltration has taken place here. In fact, the army suspects that around 200 militants are still waiting at the other side of the border to sneak into the valley,” said Inspector General (IG) BSF Kashmir Frontier Vikas Chandra while interacting with newsmen.
Furthermore, the officer also held Pakistan and its terror outfits responsible for the ongoing unrest in Kashmir.
“The tumult is completely sponsored by Pakistan and the terrorist organizations in the country have a huge role in worsening the situation of Kashmir. Moreover, they are still trying their best to fuel the unrest,” added the IG.
