Four killed, six injured in van-truck collision in Uttar Pradesh

Vadodara: On Wednesday, 11 people were killed in a collision with two trucks on the Waghodia crossing highway in Vadodara, Gujarat. While 17 people have been injured. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. It is being told that the incident happened at 3 O' Clock in the morning. The highway has been jammed due to the accident. More information about the incident is awaited.

Truck collapsed on road:

In such a situation, Vadodara Commissioner of Police RB Brahmabhatta said that the accident occurred on Wagodia circle. When the driver of the mini truck lost control of the vehicle and hit the truck from behind. He further stated that the 11 people who died were all from Varachha area of Surat city and were going to Pavagadh in Panchmal district.

PM Modi tweets:

Saddened by the accident in Vadodara. My thoughts are with those who lost their loved ones. Praying that the injured recover soon. The administration is providing all possible assistance at the site of the accident, PM Modi on twitter.

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has expressed grief over this painful incident. He tweeted, "Saddened by the death due to a road accident near Vadodara. The officers have been instructed to take necessary action. Those who have been injured, wish to recover as soon as possible. I pray for the peace of departed souls. om Shanti.'

Also, near Kothariya village in Surendranagar district of the state, the driver lost control of the steering wheel on Wednesday morning. Due to this, four people have died. Currently, more information about the incident is awaited.
