New Delhi: In the midst of the crisis caused by the Corona pandemic, all eyes are currently on the vaccine. Everyday, new updates are coming out. It has been reported from the sources that vaccine will be given to one crore front line health workers of the country first. It is worth noting that currently five vaccine trials are going on in the country, whose positive results are coming.

Frontline workers will get vaccine first:

According to sources, data of health workers made available by 92 percent government hospitals and 55 percent private hospitals of the country. These include doctors, MBBS students, nurses and Asha workers.

In addition, Center asked all states and union territories to prepare plans for vaccination sessions. At the same time, they asked to mapping all departments of human resources across the country. Who can take the responsibility of verification of beneficiaries, crowd control and overall coordination.

The central government, along with the state and union territories, is identifying 30 crore people who will get vaccine in the initial phase. For this, the Center has set four categories, according to which in the first category there are one crore doctors, MBBS students, nurses and Asha workers.

Two crore municipal corporation employees, police personnel and security force personnel. Apart from this, 26 crore people above the age of 50 years and those in the special category placed below the age of 50 years and need special care.

According to data from the Union Health Ministry, 37,975 new cases of corona virus have been reported in the last 24 hours. During this period, the number of patients who lost their lives due to covid-19 has been 480. At the same time, the total number of corona virus infections in the country has increased to 91,77,841.
