Hollywood's famous Oscar-winning filmmaker Jon Landau, who made mega-hit films like 'Titanic' and 'Avatar', has died at the age of 63. His family shared this sad news in a statement to the media. However, no information has been shared about the cause of his death.

His close friend and colleague, director James Cameron, is deeply saddened by the death of Jon Landau. Cameron, quoted by the 'Associated Press', said, "He was a dear friend of mine and my closest colleague for 31 years. A part of me is broken. His comedy, personality, great generosity and fierceness kept our Avatar Universe going for nearly two decades. His legacy is not just the films he made, but his personality is also the same - caring, insightful and completely great." 'Avatar' actress Zoe Saldana also mourned the filmmaker's death on social media. She wrote, "Your wisdom and support shaped many of us in ways we will always be grateful for. Your legacy will continue to inspire us and guide us on our journey."

Jon Landau is survived by his wife Julie and his sons Jamie and Jody. Both the family and the film industry are shocked by his death.
