To brighten and tone the face, you apply many things on the face, one of which is face toner. Although toners are easily available in the market according to the skin type, which work to maintain tightness on your face. But if you want, you can make toner at home with rice water.

Although rice water is a wonder for the skin, burnt skin shouldn't be healed by it alone. Burns require prompt medical attention, particularly if they are severe. But for mild sunburns, a cooling rice toner can be a terrific addition to your aftercare regimen to reduce discomfort and speed up recovery. The method of making it is explained here in the article, which can be prepared easily by following step by step.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup raw rice
  • 2 cups filtered water
  • Milk

Steps to follow:

  • Rice Washing: To get rid of all the dust and dirt, give the rice a thorough rinse under running water. This guarantees a soft and pure toner.
  • You'll need rice and milk to prepare it. After giving the rice a good wash, let it soak in milk. Grind the two of them in a mixer in the morning.
  • When the paste is ready, tie it in a cotton cloth. Squeeze it in a vessel. Store the water coming out of it in a bottle. Now you can apply it on the face like a moisturizer on the skin. This will make your face look spotless and glowing.

If you apply this daily, the skin will become tighter. But those who have sensitive skin should not apply it. This can cause skin problems on their face.

Additional: For an extra refreshing touch, you can add 2-3 drops of pure aloe vera gel or witch hazel (for oily skin) to the cooled rice water.
