Period Cramps Home Remedies

During periods, pain starts in the lower part of the stomach. To get relief from this pain, hot water fomentation can be done. Apart from hot water fomentation, a heating pad can be used. You can make a heating pad at home. To make a heating pad, cut a cloth in a square shape and sew it from three sides. Now fill the cloth with raw rice from the unstitched part and then sew the cloth and close it. Take out this cloth with rice after keeping it in the microwave for a few minutes. Your heating pad is ready. Place this heating pad on the stomach over the cloth and apply it.

Ginger tea

Ginger tea, which is full of anti-inflammatory properties, can be drunk. To make ginger tea, cut ginger into small pieces and put it in a cup of water and boil it. Drinking this prepared water after filtering it, the stomach feels relaxed. This reduces cramps and if the stomach gets bloated during periods, then this problem also goes away with ginger tea.

Drinking enough water

It is important for the body to get complete hydration. If there is a lack of water in the body, then there is more pain during periods. That is why it is important to keep drinking enough water. Apart from water, you can drink herbal tea, fruit juice, cucumber water or coconut water etc.
