In childhood, we were often told that milk was very good for our health, so much so that we were told to drink it in large quantities. This is because it is a good source of calcium and contributes to keeping bones healthy. So it is no wonder that we assume that milk is beneficial for our health and will have a positive effect on us. But do you know that drinking too much milk can cause more harm than good? Yes, there are some side effects of milk which are being discussed in this article.

According to a study conducted in 2014, it was found that the risk of heart disease almost doubles in women who drink three or more glasses of milk every day.

Research shows that people above nine years of age should drink three cups of milk every day. This is because milk and other dairy products are excellent sources of calcium, phosphorus, vitamin A, vitamin D, riboflavin, vitamin B12, protein, potassium, zinc, choline, magnesium and selenium.

Drinking too much milk can cause acne to appear on your face. This increases the problem of pimples. Due to this your immune system can also become weak. It may be allergic.

Drinking too much milk can also cause iron deficiency in your body. Apart from this, you may also feel lazy. This can also cause nutritional deficiency in the body.
