EXCLUSIVE: BSP is coming to power in UP, says Satish Chandra Mishra

Gorakhpur: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) national general secretary Satish Chandra Mishra on Saturday claimed that his party was going to form a majority government in the Uttar Pradesh as most of the votes have come in its favour.

Talking exclusively to newstrack.com, Mishra said, "BSP was undoubtedly going to form majority government in UP under the leadership of Behanji (Mayawati) as people have shown their unprecedented support to our party in terms of voting in first and second phases of UP polls."

Taking a dig at Amit Shah's 'tsunami' remark, he said, "The results will decide whose tsunami is this," while claiming, "BJP will be wiped out in the ongoing elections."

Speaking over the pre-poll alliance between Samajwadi Party and Congress, Satish Chandra Mishra remarked, "The ruling party made UP the state of riots while Congress joined hands with them to stay alive in Uttar Pradesh politics. But they will get a befitting reply from the people this time."

He asserted that UP has got fed up of the goondaism of the SP government and now people are looking up to Mayawati for clean and corruption-free governance.

Muslim electorate has also ensured support to Behanji to help BSP form government in the state, he concluded.
