Zee unhappy with Mika Singh for 'The Kapil Sharma Show' episode

Mumbai: Singer Mika Singh’s appearance on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ on Sony TV has raised several eyebrows as after comedian Krushna Abhishek, channel Zee TV now has objected to singer’s promotional visit to Kapil Sharma’s show.

A source close to the channel informs that ZEE considers Mika Singh’s act as ‘unprofessional’.

Mika also judges the singing reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’, which airs on Zee TV at 9.30 pm every Saturday and Sunday. Kapil Sharma’s show also airs in the same time slot. Source informs that Mika should have at least informed the channel before paying a visit at the rival show.

Mika Singh appeared in the show along with West Indies cricketer Chris Gayle and singer Kanika Kapoor.

Meanwhile, Mika Singh said that he gives his best efforts to both the shows (Colors and Zee) and he has been playing his part as through professional.

He said, “Both my shows are topping the charts in their own genre. My visit to Kapil’s programme was part of the film (Housefull 3) promotions, and not to undermine any of my shows. My intention was not to hurt anyone, but just promote the movie as a singer.”
