6. His father Harivansh Rai Bachchan wanted to put his name Inkalaab, but after the advice of the poet Sumitra Nandan Pant he was named as Amitabh.

8. In 1969, he started his filmy career by giving his voice in Mrinal Sen’s Bengali film.
