New Delhi: Today is the birth anniversary of Whitney Houston. Houston was born on 6 August in 1963. The famous American singer is not anymore in this world. It's hard to believe that there will be someone like Whitney Houston again, as beautiful as she was. The iconic, venerated singer had a very successful career that lasted for decades.

Early life of Whitney Houston:

Whitney Houston earned the fame in the mid-80s with her debut, self-titled album. At just young age of 22, Houston became an absolute Diva after years of work and dedication to her skills, which began when she was just a child singing in her church.

In 1985, when Whitney was just in her early 20s. American singer Houston won her first of many Grammy Awards for Best Pop Vocal Performance. She won this award for her breakout single "Saving All My Love for You," off her debut album.


This was the moment when everything changed, the singer's career simply was at on top. Her second album, Whitney, featured the iconic dance hit "I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me),". For this song Houston win her second Grammy Award.

Whitney's sudden demise:

Late pop singer Whitney Houston may have suffered a heart attack before drowning in a hotel bathtub. This is to say of his post-mortem report in which poor health and cocaine have also been cited as the cause of death.


High dose of cocaine:

The post-mortem report has put an end to the ongoing speculation about the cause of death of the 48-year-old singer. Whitney died under mysterious circumstances on February 11 at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the singer was found dead in the bathtub and traces of cocaine were found in her body. He is suspected to have suffered a heart attack at the time of his death.

The coroner's deputy chief Edwinter said, 'She must have suffered a heart attack, which made her unconscious and drowned in the full tub.'
