Mumbai: Welcoming Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s move of invalidating Rs. 500 and Rs. 1,000 currency notes, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan on Saturday said if the step will enhance India’s growth then he is with it. He also said if his film ‘Dangal’ gets affected in this currency drought, it will not be a big affair.

Aamir, who was here at the song launch event of his upcoming flick ‘Dangal, said:

  • All these issues that what is right for the nation are more important.
  • Short term impact should be ignored.
  • What all is required for the nation should be done and for that if my film is being affected, then that is not something big.

‘Dangal’ director Nitesh Tiwari admitted that demonetisation may affect certain things, but it will turn out beneficiary at the end.
