Vinod Khanna looking pale shadow of former self; Fans shocked

Mumbai: A picture of Bollywood actor and BJP MP Vinod Khanna, showing him very weak in a hospital gown, has shocked the Hindi cinema lovers across the world.

The photo of almost 'unrecognizable' 70-year-old actor has stormed the social media websites and has spread grief among his followers to see their dashing star, who once was the only competitor to megastar Amitabh Bachchan, looking very dull and unwell.

Few media reports suggest that Khanna is suffering from Bladder cancer and he is being treated in Mumbai's Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

His son Rahul Khanna, however, said that the actor is suffering from severe dehydration and he will be discharged soon.

“Dad was hospitalised on Friday for severe dehydration. The situation was quickly brought under control, he’s doing much better and the doctors are looking to discharge him soon."

He also extended his gratitudes to the actor's fans all across for pouring in good wishes for Vinod Khann's soon recovery.
