Lucknow: Telly actor Karan Suchak is back, this time with a show 'Meri Hanikarak Biwi' which will put forth a concept a vasectomy in front of the viewers.

The show is a very new thing for the Indian television and will be presented in a light hearted way.

The story of 'Meri Hanikarak Biwi' will revolve around Akhilesh Pandey, a simple Varanasi boy and a Mumbai doctor, Ira. Karan, who is playing Akhilesh, said that he is playing a village simpleton who is a devotee of Lord Hanuman.

“My character is a simple, innocent and honest boy from Varanasi. He has unwavering devotion and respect for his parents, and their word is his command,” said Karan Suchak.

Jia, who will be seen portraying a character of Dr Ira Desai, said that she is playing a typical Mumbai girl having a kind heart.

"I will be seen playing the role of Dr. Ira, who is tough, practical, intelligent but has a kind heart at the same time. I am all set to imbibe myself into this character and essay the role," Jia said.

Jia said that show puts a question for the audience that who is truly considered a man. “Procreation does not make a man. A protector and a provider are what make a man. It is not just the ability to have children,” she said.

He said that several such movies of the same concept like 'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan' and 'Poster Boys' have been made in Bollywood.

The show is penned down by Sonal Jaffer, who had earlier written for some romantic soaps like Kasamh Se (2006), Kya Huaa Tera Vaada (2012), Yeh Hai Mohabbatein (2013) and Beintehaa (2014).

The show will be aired from December 4 onwards on &TV.
