This is what Alia has to say about delayed schedule of 'Brahmastra'!

Mumbai: Produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, the mega starer movie, 'Brahmastra', has been making news for quite a while and fans are going restless to watch Alia, Ranbir romancing on screen for the very first time.

Ayan Mukerji's epic-fantasy 'Brahmastra' has been long in the making and actor Alia Bhatt said that's because it's a "different" kind of project.

The trilogy features Alia, along with Ranbir Kapoor and megastar Amitabh Bachchan. It's gonna be for the first time that Alia will be seen sharing screen with Ranbir Kapoor.

Though, earlier, the duo was seen in 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, for few minutes in a song but weren't seen in a single frame together. Alia had played the role of Anushka's friend who was playing DJ in 'Break-up Song'.

The movie was earlier supposed to release this year but was pushed to 2020 with an extended shooting schedule.

When asked about it, Alia told reporters, "That's because it's a really different kind of a film. So good things take time."

The first part of the sci-fi trilogy is scheduled to release in summer 2020 and also features south star Nagarjuna and actor Mouni Roy.

The movie will see Ranbir playing a character with special powers.
