Walt Disney India all set for biggest landmark in Bollywood !!!

Mumbai: After a slow start in the country, The Walt Disney Co. India, is all geared up to set the biggest landmark in Bollywood.

The $191 billion American conglomerate The Walt Disney Co.. is working on the biggest yet to be named Bollywood project. The film will feature stars like Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan.

Sources from the industry said that the total investment riding on three films is close to Rs. 450 crore.

“Talks are in process but nothing can be revealed as of now. But Walt Disney India definitely is looking to rock the Bollywood market with its upcoming project,” Casting director for Walt Disney India, Om Lakhani, said.

The company had already invested in may films which may star Aamir Khan starrer Dangal, which is based on the life of Haryana wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, Anurag Basu helmed Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starrer Jagga Jasoos and India’s ace filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker’s period drama Mohenjo Daro.

The company produced Khoobsurat, featuring Sonam Kapoor and Pakistani actor Fawad Khan in 2014 and ABCD 2 with Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor this year.

While Khoobsurat earned nearly Rs. 25 crore in India and another Rs. 40 crore at global Box Office, ABCD 2 saw its net collections surge to touch Rs.105 crore in the country. ABCD 2 ranks third in the list of highest grossing Hindi films released so far in 2015.

Nearly Rs 300cr will be on stake once the things would be finalized with the industry’s biggest names.
