Sushant Case: ED rejects Rhea Chakraborty's plea to avert interrogation
The CBI and ED have started their investigation as soon as the actor Sushant Singh Rajput case comes to hand. Continued demand for a CBI probe was also being raised to investigate the matter.
Mumbai: The CBI and ED have started their investigation as soon as the actor Sushant Singh Rajput case comes to hand. Continued demand for a CBI probe was also being raised to investigate the matter. Now as soon as the case comes to hand, the CBI, taking action, first filed an FIR on Thursday. In which 6 people including Rhea Chakraborty were accused.
ED to interrrogate Rhea Chakraborty:
The CBI has constituted the SIT to investigate the case of Sushant Singh Rajput's death. This team is headed by Gujarat cadre IPS Manoj Shashidhar. Now in this case, ED has called Rhea Chakraborty for questioning on August 7 i.e. today. In this case, Rhea Chakraborty can be asked questions regarding her property and transaction with actor Sushant.
Rhea not agreeing on recording statement:
Rhea has requested that the recording of her statement be postponed till Supreme Court hearing: Satish Maneshinde, Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer on her being summoned by Enforcement Directorate. But, ED rejected her request.

Rhea was to appear before the ED on Friday, 7 August. But now Rhea will not appear before ED. In fact, he appealed to the Supreme Court hearing that his statement should not be recorded till then.
The BMC of Bihar cadre IPS officer Vinay Tiwari, who arrived in Mumbai to investigate actor Sushant Singh Rajput case, finished the quarantine on Friday i.e. this morning. Following the recommendation of the Patna Police and strict Supreme Court comment, the BMC decided to release IPS officer Vinay Tiwari after a 5-day quarantine. This decision was taken after showing the return ticket.
