Sridevi refuses to speak over daughter Jhanvi's Bollywood debut

Mumbai: Eternal beauty Sridevi has been refraining from speaking over her daughter Jhanvi's Bollywood plans. A similar instance took place at trailer launch event of her 300th film 'Mom'.

When one of the media persons asked Sridevi to tell when her daughter would mark her debut in the filmdom, she said, "Today we will talk about Jhanvi's mom we will talk about Jhanvi later."

She also claimed that even at the age of 53, she feels like a newcomer in the industry.

"I feel like it's first film, I feel like a newcomer. It's long way to go," Sridevi said at the trailer launch of Mom.

She also heaped praises over her co-stars in the movie, saying that working on the film was a great experience.

"I am working with lot of people for the first time like Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Akshaye Khanna. Nawazuddin is a gifted actor. it is wonderful to see him on-screen. I am a huge admirer of his work and have a lot of respect for him and Akshaye Khanna is a powerful performer," she said.

"Ravi Udaywar, my director, had a beautiful vision for the film and Boney Kapoor is an amazing producer. It was nice working with Sajal Ali and Adnan Siddiqui we miss them (on promotions)," she added.

Sridevi claimed that a good script is her top priority while signing a movie. "The plot of Mom was gripping which inspired me to sign the project," Sridevi said.
