Sonali Bendre to involve children in her book Club...!

Mumbai: The Bollywood diva Sonali Bendre, after authoring a book on parenting, has now started a book club on social platform. The actress recently created the community 'Sonalibookclub' that encourages the passion for reading and exchanging ideas and thoughts.

While talking about this initiative, Sonali said, "This book club is for anyone who is a lover of stories and who likes reading because today all of us are facing the same problem. There is so much information ....so much happening... so much distraction that we no longer have the time or inclination to sit down with a book and read or even spend time with ourselves. This is a great way of reconnecting with books and interesting stories and engages in stimulating conversation and discussions.”

The actress would involve children, suggesting books for them. She would also discuss their career related problems and would guide them.

Encouraging his son to inculcate a strong habit of reading, Sonali said, “He does read, but not as much as I would like him to, so I am hoping that by setting this example, he develops a love for reading and not just read as part of his schooling or curriculum. I am involving him in the book reading club. Hopefully, he will read these books, too, if time permits from his studies.”
