The Sixth Sense Horror Film Festival to debut on May 19 in Mumbai
Mumbai: The Sixth Sense Horror Film Festival, a movie gala dedicated to the horror genre in India, will debut on May 19.
More than 50 such films will be screened, and a number of filmmakers will showcase their debut projects here at the YB Chavan Centre and Ravindra Natya Mandir.
The three-day film festival is dedicated to honouring and celebrating the legacy of short horror films.
'Sushrut Mankani', son of veteran Marathi actor Ravindra Mankani, will also be marking his debut here with the Marathi horror film 'Found Footage'.
"Found Footage" is based on a journey of four friends who call themselves ghost hunters. They go on a mission to find a ghost which is haunting a school premises since a long time.

Content head and the festival director Shaunak Sirrole said, "It is very exciting to showcase and screen a movie like 'Found Footage' which is made on a totally different format. We at The Sixth Sense Horror Film Festival provide a platform where all the talented movie makers can showcase their movies."
Talking about the horror film festival, which will have more than 10 debut directors screening their respective projects, Farhad Katgara, Co-Founder of the Sixth Sense Horror Film Festival said: "We're excited to bring forth this unique format which will provide a platform to all filmmakers to showcase their work and also provide a platform for short films under the horror/thriller genre to reach out to the masses."
