Singer Kanika Kapoor gets a police notice to record Statement

MUMBAI: Singer Kanika Kapoor, who was infected with Corona virus and now she is totally fine. She is not getting relief. On Monday, Sarojini Nagar police reached Kanika's Mahanagar residence. Where she was given notice. Police has summoned the singer to Sarojini Nagar Police Station at 11 am on April 30.

Investigating officer JP Singh says Kanika's statement will be recorded on April 30 for which the legal process has started. JP Singh says that Kanika is cooperating in the investigation. After she found covid positive a case has been registered against Kanika Kapoor under Section 188, 269 and 270 of IPC including endangering the life of others in Sarojini Nagar police station.

Tomorrow Kanika Kapoor shared a long clarification Note. In which that letter she explained that why she was not giving any statement.

"Some of these seem to be fuelled even more because I have chosen to be silent till now. I stayed quiet not because I am wrong but in-fact being fully aware that there have been misunderstandings and wrong exchanges of information. I was giving time for the truth to prevail and for people to reach their own realisation, shown no symptoms of Covid-19, in-fact all those tested have been negative", She stated.

Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor finally defeated the corona virus. Her recent sixth test report has come negative. In such a situation, Kanika Kapoor who was admitted in the hospital in Lucknow for about 15 days, got discharged.

THE MATTER:

Kanika Kapoor, who returned from London, was attending the parties in Lucknow. She broke high profile quarantine rules and held high profile parties. Her sample was collected from the Shalimar Gallant residence on 19 March due to her ill health. Check ups on March 20 at KGMU confirmed the corona virus.
