Sidharth Malhotra to begin shoot in Lucknow for 'Mission Majnu' from Feb 12

Sidharth Malhotra has his hands full with some interesting projects some of which have already gone on floors. The most talked-about among them is Mission Majnu which marks the debut of South diva Rashmika Mandanna in Bollywood. According to the latest reports, Sidharth will begin shooting for the aforementioned movie from February 12 in Lucknow. For the unversed, this is the second time that he will be shooting in the city after Jabariya Jodi which was released in 2019.

Sidharth Malhotra to begin shooting for Mission Majnu

As per a report by TOI, the shooting schedule will commence in Lucknow for a period of 45 days. Within this time, the star cast will shoot in places like the Jahangirabad Palace (Hazratganj), La Martiniere, and Malihabad. The rest of the team has already reached the city and the formal shoot will kick-start from February 6, 2021. However, Sidharth Malhotra will reach the same four days later. Rashmika Mandanna has already made a name for herself in the South film industry and now the fans are excited about her Hindi debut.

Talking about Mission Majnu, it is reportedly based on true events and is set against the backdrop of the 70s. Sidharth Malhotra plays the role of a RAW agent in the movie. The actor is currently gearing up for yet another movie which is Shershaah. It features Kiara Advani as the female lead. The movie will reportedly feature him in dual roles. It has been directed by Vishnuvardhan. Moreover, Karan Johar has co-produced the biographical war drama.
