I was harassed by my 'Family', sent to mental asylum, says 'Selfie Mausi'

Mumbai: There were rumours of comedian Siddharth Sagar aka 'selfie mausi' being missing for past four months and what what has been revealed is more shocking.

The stand-up comedian and television actor was stuck in mental asylum. Yes! Siddhartha said that he was in mental asylum and has been through a lot of ups and downs. What more shocking was the revelation that he was sent to the "hell" by his own parents.

The actor, however, did not reveal much and said that he would clear all speculations in a press conference in one or two days.

In an instagram video shared by Siddhartha, he said, "Seeing the concern of my friends and media, I am posting this video. Yes, I had filed an NC against my family as I was mentally harassed by them. But now, wherever I am, they are in complete support of me. Can't reveal much. Within 1-2 days will address the media and share all the details."

In an interview given to a leading entertainment site, the comedian has said that he had asked people from the asylum to inform his well-wishers about his whereabouts but all went in vain and also assured of being in safe hands now. "My family has been involved in property dispute for long and my parents were influenced."

"I saw how patients in the asylum were being subjected to shock treatment and was beginning to slip into depression. No one knows of my whereabouts at the moment, but all I can tell you is that the people I am with currently have helped me overcome the trauma," stated Siddhartha further revealing ,"I requested people to go out and inform my well-wishers that I am stuck here but no one helped me. A girl, I don’t know who, was giving me some tablets because of which I would completely lose my mind.

Siddharth is a famous comedian who got love from his fans recently as 'Selfie Mausi'. He is also the winner of Comedy Circus Ke Ajoobe teamed with Krishna Abhishek and Sudesh Lehri.
