Shilpa Shinde files sexual harassment case against producer of BJGPH

Mumbai: It seems that television industry is facing bad time these days. The controversies between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover is still to be solved and here is yet another controversy grabbing the limelight.

This time it is Shilpa Shinde, best known as Angoori Bhabhi from her show Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain?, has filed a sexual harassment case against the producer of the show Sanjay Kohli.

In her complaint she stated that he use to touch her inappropriately and ask her to compromise if she has to stay in the show.

"Kohli hugged me forcefully. He forced me to get intimate with him and touch me inappropriately. One day my make-up man Pinku Patwa saw him harassing me and next day he was fired. Kohli also threatens me that I would be thrown out of the show,"said Shilpa.

She added, "In the past year, I battled depression and medical issues. I spoke out since it was getting to me. I know many women from the industry are afraid to speak up, but I want to, on their behalf."

The First Information Report was filed at Waliv Police Station in Vasai.

Rubbishing all the claims made by Shilpa Shinde, Kohli's wife Benaifer stated, "I can not understand why is she doing this after one year. My husband and me do not want to comment anything and don't want to give more publicity to this stuff. We have full faith in the Judiciary and will reply to her in a legal matter."
