Lucknow: Ironical, it may seem but it was 'Fan' which took Shahrukh Khan 25 years as a reigning super-star to prove how much he is capable as an actor after a series of mediocre stuff like'Ra one', 'Chennai Express', 'Happy New Year' and 'Dilwale' .

SRK , as pompous he is, also does not show any modesty when he said that he would snatch the award, if not given the one for 'Fan' which was released to rave reviews on Friday last. Arguably, the career-best performance of SRK left his detractors speech-less.

The trade pundits were also of the view that if 'Fan' failed, the career of SRK will be over as far as the super stardom is concerned. But that was not to be, the double dose of Shahrukh Khan enthralled the audience and critics alike and consolidated his position as Badshah of Bollywood.

True, the SRK fans were miffed over the kind of films he had been doing during the last few years. In these movies, Shahrukh was nowhere near the Shahrukh of films like 'Swades', 'Chak De' and 'My Name Is Khan' and the ageing super star badly needed a 'Fan' to resurrect his career which he did with a aplomb.

The Box office collections of 'fan' during the weekend already suggests the movie is going to be hit.
