Won't work with Pak artists in future, Shahrukh Khan assures Thackeray

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan wants to stay away from controversies ahead of the release of his upcoming film Raees and hence, he, on Sunday, met MNS Chief Raj Thackeray to clear his stand over bringing the lead actress of the film Mahira Khan from Pakistan for promotions.

SRK recently agreed to producer Ritesh Sidhwani when he said that if need arises, Mahira would be brought to India for promotions as there are no government restrictions on Pak actors.

To clarify, Shahrukh had an hour long meeting with Mr. Thackeray at his home in Mumbai.

Raj Thackeray, after the meeting said, "He (Shah Rukh Khan) had come to inform that rumours about Mahira Khan promoting Raees are false."

Shahrukh reportedly has promised the MNS Chief that he won't work with any Pakistan artists in future.
