Mumbai Police tightens security outside Sonu Nigam's residence

Mumbai: The security outside Sonu Nigam's residence in Versova has been beefed up following the singer's controversial tweets against the use of loudspeakers during early morning Azaan.

Singer is facing the flaks from all corners despite his clarifications that his tweets referred to just noise pollution.

Sonu said, "It was loudspeaker, and only loudspeaker. Too bad that they are on Mosques, Temples and Gurudwaras, thus the reference. Let's be human first."

He added, "And dear Everyone, for those who are tainting my Tweets anti Muslim, tell me 1 place where I have said anything related, & I'll apologize."

It may be mentioned that Sonu Nigam came in the limelight after he, in a series of tweets, said that use of loudspeakers during morning Azaan is forced religiousness.
