Mumbai: Bhaijaan Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan on Tuesday apologised for the ‘rape remark’ of the actor, saying what he said was wrong but, his intention was not.

"I admit What Salman said is undoubtedly wrong ... the simile, example and the context. People should, however, understand that his intention was never wrong," Salim Khan justified in a tweet.

"I apologise on behalf of the actor’s family, friends and fans," added senior Khan.
