Another heartbreaking news from 2020. Actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide at his residence, today. Reports claim he was found hanging at his Bandra residence. Let's remember the actor by taking a look at five of his films and diverse roles he played in them.

34-year-old Sushant started his career with the Television show Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil and rose to fame with Pavitra Rishta. It was a super show on ZeeTV. Followed by an award-winning performance in Zee TV's popular soap opera Pavitra Rishta

And then moved on to Bollywood. He performed almost all the genres. From Romantic, drama, Thriller, Sports; he shined like a star on the screens.

He has acted in hit Bollywood films like Kai Po Chhe and MS Dhoni, a film based on cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s life. Also, acted in 2018 movie Kedarnath and his last film was Chhichhore released in 2019. In addition, He was last seen in Netflix’s Drive.

KAI PO CHE:

Rajput made his film debut in the buddy drama Kai Po Che! (2013), for which he received a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.

Sushant made his Bollywood debut with Abhishek Kapoor's Kai Po Che, with whom he later went on to work in Kedarnath. Sushant as cricket coach and uncompromising friend Ishaan won hearts.

Shuddh Desi Romance:

He then starred in the romantic comedy Shuddh Desi Romance (2013).

His highest-grossing releases came with a supporting role in the satire PK (2014), followed by the titular role in the sports biopic M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016).

MS DHONI: THE UNTOLD STORY

It was the first blockbuster film of Sushant, who played the role of ace cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni in his biopic. Sushant underwent a physical transformation for the role and sported two different looks in the film. His performance was lauded by critics and the audience.

For his performance in the latter, he received his first nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Actor.

KEDARNATH

Sushant played Muslim porter Mansoor in Abhishek Kapoor's recently released Kedarnath. Though the character was underwritten, Sushant played it with utmost honesty.

Chhichhore

The film which released last year, Chhichhore, proved Sushant's poweress once again. He was damn good as the young college student and also impressed us in his old age avatar.
