Even though Rishi Kapoor started his cinematic career with his father's film "Mera Naam Joker", after 3 years when father Raj Kapoor launched him as an actor from Bobby, the fans loved him so much. The film on Young love starred Dimple Kapadia in his opposite role. It was also the first film of actress Dimple Kapadia. The film was a super hit and Rishi got recognition in the industry.

2.Prem Rog:

This movie was one of the remark on Indian cinema. Rishi Kapoor decided to work in this film beyond the cliche scripts. This movie was based on 'Widow Marriage and their rights". He worked in this film with a risk and again it was a block buster.

3.Karz:

The film Karz, released in the year 1980, is one of his superhit films. The song "Om Shanti Om" filmed on him in this film based on rebirth under the direction of Subhash Ghai became very popular among the audience.

4.Chandni:

Although Sridevi used to rule the hearts of the people at that time but when Rishi Kapoor appeared in the movie Chandni in the year 1989 with Sridevi, she was engulfed in the hearts of the audience. A must watch film based on NRI culture and its craze in India done by Rishi Kapoor. In this film he played a role of Indian man who is living in London and looking for a perfect guy for her daughter.
