Release of Akshay's LAXMII: Khiladi Kumar's Horror Comedy to Premiere Online

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar's Laxmii to release today. In this film, Akshay is seen as a transgender. In this form, Akshay has appeared in the audience for the first time.

Akshay Kumar's film is remake of South Indian Movie 'Kanchana'. Which is already loved by audience in dubbed version.

In which a man is possessed by a transgender ghost. In Laxmii, Akshay will be seen playing that character and Kiara is the leading lady of the film. Recently, the film went for a censor certificate to CBFC and after the screening, the makers discussed with the officials of the censor board about the title change.

Directed by Raghava Lawrence, the horror-comedy’s title is now changed to ‘Laxmii’. Just days before release, the film has undergone such a massive change. Fresh trouble mounted for the film on Thursday as Karni Sena sent a legal notice to the team demanding its title be changed.

Producers Shabinaa Khan, Tusshar Kapoor and Akshay Kumar decided to change the title of the film post that. The film is helmed by Raghava Lawrence, who had directed the original film as well. The song from the film Burj Khalifa is already a chartbuster. Also, fans have been recreating their own dance versions of it and sharing it with Akshay and Kiara on social media. The actors too have been lauding their fans who are excited about the film.
